Aug 8, 2025

"Whispers of the Falling Stars" is a world where stars guided verses weave human emotions into harmony. The poems reflect a blend of introspection, emotion, and ethereal imagery. The aesthetic world created in this work is a portrait of pure, selfless emotions where Life is revered as a sacred, cosmic gift adorned by purity. The book is a journey into the timeless and unconditional aspect of human emotions. Every reading is a meditative solitude in the presence of stars and the moon. The book reveals to its readers the omnipresence of beauty in imperfection, strength in fears and hope in desolation. Each line seems to balance fragility with strength—acknowledging pain or fear but framing it with grace. It’s not just about feeling; it’s about processing and rising through it, which likely resonates with the readers. It's a cosmic world where every single emotion transforms into something bigger- cosmic and mystical.

The book embarks us on a journey towards the sublime, where human experience meets the infinite. Nishieeta is not just writing poetry; she’s crafting little universes. We had a chance to speak to Nishieeta about her book and here is what she has to say:

1. This book frames emotional arcs as constellations—memory, fear, hope aligned under the silent gaze of stars. How did the cosmic setting evolve in your imagination, and what interior journey did you intend readers to take as each poem fell like a star?

Each falling star is a step towards rising higher in life. The cosmos is our greatest strength. It listens to us. The silence of the cosmos reaffirms the invincibility of life. Whispers of the Falling Stars presents to its readers the contours of life in varied emotional arcs. Memory is a mingled yarn of fear and hope. The metaphor of the falling stars is central to human existence in a cosmos which we fail to comprehend. To us, the universe may outwardly seem indifferent, however it is a source of perennial strength and inspiration to us. The Stars are silent spectators to this cosmic drama of life. The cosmos is an inseparable part of us. We don't exist in isolation even in our darkest moments. The inner soul journey is like the life course of a star shining bright in darkness, radiating hope, strength and resilience to the ones around us.

2. Your writing reveres Life as a cosmic gift, rather than just a mortal gift. What does the word “cosmic” add to “gift,” for you? Does it reshape how we should receive—or give—our emotions?

A cosmic gift- life is. Every emotion that we receive or give is a part of our soul journey that delves deep within. Life experiences transcend mortality, coming across milestones of grief, joy and serenity. Whatever we come across in life, the experiences we undergo, the people we meet, the events we witness- are all a part of the cosmic design. The cosmos has a plan beyond human understanding and perception. Above all, the most beautiful part is that life unfolds before us like a dream, a masquerade, a pageant. We are all eternal travellers destined to self-realization through the experiences we undergo in life. The cosmos is our greatest teacher and emotional experiences the best mentors.

3. You write “little universes,” each poem carrying its own internal force field. Do you begin with a single image or emotion, then let it accumulate cosmic weight? Or do you map entire universes before writing?

Poetry has a unique inner sphere of its own making weaved by emotions. This cosmic realm of poetry is beyond the worldly notions of happiness and prosperity. Contrary to the material world the journey of poetic creation is inwards. The horizon of poetry is not a force field, for poetry is nothing If not effortless spontaneous portrayal of life emotions. The best Poetry possesses an attractive pull akin to gravity. Each poem in this collection is a reflection of the cosmic working in our lives. Writing is an effortless creative genesis. Poems just flow as emotions do from our heart and soul. This cosmos has an organic existence, constantly evolving, not in a flux but yearning towards fulfillment.

4. The blurb speaks of “sacrificial purity” and emotions as cosmic universals. What burdens of humanity, of shared frailty, do you hope these poems bear?

Soul serenity rather than sacrificial purity comes alive in the poetic world. The creations in Whispers of the Falling Stars share with the readers: burdens turned into blessings and frailty turned into hope by dint of positivity and an untiring spirit. Life is all about persistence, patience and hope. Life is what we make out of it; for a poetic mind sees blessings in burdens and calmness in chaos. The challenges of life curate human learning that leads unto self-realization. The poems in this collection are not mere shared fragile moments, nor are they laments in despair. When perceived from the objective point of view every composition presents to us a reflective insight into the intricacies of life.

5. How do readers explain what they felt reading the book? Do they describe emotional echoes, meditative calm, uplifted sorrow?

The book takes its readers on a sojourn. Every emotion portrayed in the collection has a psychological depth, which in turn, makes the readers pause and reflect A reading of this book is a reflective depiction of soul dialogue. The book opens with sorrowful silent struggles, travels through emotional echoes and finally settles in a meditative calm.

Whispers of the Falling Stars is an earnest effort to share with its readers- the simplest resolved truths of life in an honest, hearttouching, soulfelt manner. The book is a dialogue of the soul with self that forbids mourning and lament. Time seems to stop for a while as the reader experiences with a sense of wonder at the rainbow stillness of life that arrives after storms of emotional strife. The poetic truth of life comes alive in each poem. At the completion of reading the readers feel surrounded by an aura of rejuvenating calmness.
